Park City, Utah (May 16, 2022) – Today, USA Nordic Sport (USANS) announced the rosters of the “Fly Girls” and “Fly Guys” that will be attending the 2022 Fly Camp.
Mark your calendars, as the annual Fly Camp will begin in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, on July 5th. The camp will then finish up in Park City, Utah, on July 24th.
The main focus of the Fly Camp is to provide an opportunity for young athletes to bridge the gap from the club level, to the Junior National Team. The camp will consist of sport specific training for Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined, but will also provide the opportunity for cross training to develop them as well-rounded athletes.
“USA Nordic Sport is proud to present this year’s Fly Girls and Fly Guys rosters, and continue Fly Camp this year! We view this camp as a valuable stepping stone for these athletes in their young careers,” said Interim Chief Operating Officer Blake Hughes. “It was exceptionally exciting for us to see our first Fly Girl alumni, Anna Hoffmann, represent our country at the Winter Olympics this year in Beijing.”
USANS would like to extend a special thank you to the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, as well as Women’s Ski Jumping USA, for making the 2022 Fly Camp possible.
