Annika Belshaw was born in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and grew up Ski Jumping at the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. Belshaw first started skiing at three years old, and was immediately hooked because of the adrenalin rush. 

Belshaw had her best season yet in 2022/23, scoring individual World Cup points nine times. At the 2023 FIS Nordic Ski World Championships in Planica, Belshaw was able to record new personal bests in both individual events, finishing 31st (HS100) and 32nd (HS138) overall.

Her younger brother, Erik, is a member of the U.S. Men’s Ski Jumping Team. Belshaw graduated from Steamboat Springs High School and is currently attending the University of Utah.
