It began like this:
“Do you have any ideas of where to stay? We are bringing our first-ever team of women jumpers from Sweden to the Jr Worlds in Park City in 2017” – Jakob Norstedt, father of Astrid Norstedt.
“Well, you can stay at my home, Park City is expensive that time of year.” Vic Method
“Great, that helps a lot!” Jakob
“Oh by the way, how many are coming?” Vic
“10 athletes, coaches, parents”. Jakob
Result:
It was a great week and great experience for the young Swedish team and they are continuing to jump and compete now on the World Cup circuit with sights on Bejing 2022. We also discovered when they all made a Swedish meal for us that “American style tacos” is the meal eaten by many families in Sweden on Friday nights!

In November 2021, Frida Westman scored two top 20 World Cup finishes at the Nizhny Tagil Russia competition.
