“Lake Placid is pretty incredible, this is definitely the most realistic hill in the United States. It’s pretty cool to be able to have this facility here and be able to jump here whenever we want. I think that the state of Ski Jumping in the United States is getting a lot better, and the future is in good hands with the team that we have,” said Larson. “I had a good feeling this weekend and had some great jumps in competition, so I was lucky for that. My teammates jumped and performed incredibly well, and that’s all that I can ask for.
I’m very satisfied with this weekend and super proud of all of the athletes. They’ve been working extremely hard this summer and it’s starting to show in their results.” said USA Nordic Men’s and Women’s Ski Jumping Coach, Anders Johnson. “It’s a great way to end the summer season and get the athletes prepared for the winter. They’re on the right track and we’re doing the right things, and our partnership with Hopplandslaget has been a big part of that.”
