SOLDIER HOLLOW, Utah (July 31, 2021) – Annika Belshaw (Steamboat Springs, Colo./Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club), 19, capped a storybook weekend taking her third straight title in two days at the 2022 U.S. Nordic Combined Championships which wrapped up on the Olympic trails at Soldier Hollow Saturday evening. Belshaw came into the weekend with no previous titles but swept through gold in the HS100m and HS134m U.S Ski Jumping Championships then capped it off by becoming the first woman ever to win all three nordic titles.
Taylor Fletcher (Steamboat Springs, Colo./Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club), who was third after the morning jump on the HS134m large hill, came from behind to catch leader Jasper Good (Steamboat Springs, Colo./Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club) and defend the 2020 title he won two years ago, the last time the event was held.
