For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of ski jumping in Europe. To me it didn’t matter if it was a Continental Cup, or World Cup, or the ultimate event, the Olympic Games. It’s a dream that unfortunately never came true as a jumper.
But 25 years later with the invitation from life-long friend, Tony Benzie, my dream came true in 2020 when I was invited to be the photographer for the USA Team at the first ever World Masters Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria.
I was so honored to go be a part of this and be there to see long time friend, Jack Gasenica, win gold for the US Team.
This is was truly a trip I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.
