Dear USA Nordic Community,
December 1st. The day that marks the real beginning of winter psychologically and the first day of our favorite and most important month of the year, as our amazing community comes together to share stories about what makes ski jumping and Nordic combined so special to us.
From kids taking their first jump and sharing that initial joy, to Olympians flying to records, and even to the volunteers and parents who just fell in love with these sports, I welcome you to join our journey and encourage you to share your story and help us raise the critical funds we need to fuel the flight of our athletes and organization!
It has been an incredible decade of growth as we have become the National Leadership Organization which works with kids, clubs and America’s finest women and men on everything ski jumping and Nordic combined.
My vision as Executive Director is and always will be to build a bright future for our sports and all of our athletes. There are many definitions for the word “legacy.” In my mind the most important aspect of building a legacy is that it is passed on from one generation to the next.
Please join me today and throughout the month of December in celebrating our rich history and building our legacy.
