Josie Johnson

17-year-old Josie Johnson is currently enrolled at the Park City Winter Sports School. Johnson says, “sport is her oxygen” and her personal goal as an athlete is to be the best at whatever sport she is doing. She likes to go big and has broken multiple bones, just not from ski jumping. Johnson also enjoys mountain biking and climbing.
During the 2022/23 season, Johnson was able to earn individual World Cup points twice, finishing 27th and 30th overall in Rasnov, Romania. Johnson was also able to record a new personal best during the 2023 Junior World Championships in Whistler, placing 17th overall in the Individual HS104 event.
2024 Youth Olympic Games Team Member in Gangwon, South Korea. Won Silver Medal in the Women’s Individual HS109 event, becoming the first athlete from the United States to podium at the Youth Olympic Games.
