After over 4 years of service with USA Nordic Sport (USANS) Kevin McAllister, Department Chair at Springfield College, has announced he will be moving on from his role on the USANS Board of Directors.
Kevin was nominated to become a Board Member of USA Ski Jumping in 2014 and in 2015 he was elected to serve as BOD President of the organization.
During his 2 year term as President, Kevin played a key role in facilitating the smooth transition of USA Ski Jumping becoming USA Nordic when the the sports of ski jumping and Nordic Combined merging together under under one roof.
“Kevin McCallister led USA Nordic through a complex period of growth in programs and operations and we thank him for his leadership and all he has done for USA Nordic.” said Executive Director Billy Demong
Kevin explained to the BOD that “…It is a bittersweet decision, but the demands of work and family have increased tremendously over the past few years and I simply cannot devote the amount of time necessary to meet the needs of the USANS community. I leave the organization proud knowing that it is in good hands and headed in a great direction.”
The USA NORDIC community is grateful for Kevin’s contributions and wish him the very best.
