Macey Olden has been alpine ski racing since she could stand. From there, she says her love of snowsports only grew. She ski raced, snowboarded, and even briefly tried freestyle. She found her way to ski jumping through Youth Sports’ Alliance Get Out and Play program at the Utah Olympic Park when she was nine years old. She joined Park City Ski and Snowboard at 10-years-old and has now been ski jumping for seven years. Olden continues to overcome struggles with scoliosis and spondylolisthesis to one day achieve her dream of competing for international at Continental Cups and World Cups.
Olden’s father, John, was a professional mountain bike racer, and her brother, Ryder, is also a ski jumper.
