Anna Hoffmann

Anna “Squirt” Hoffmann is the youngest of three siblings that all grew up loving to ski. The Hoffmann had an affinity for ski jumping in particular. Two of her Hoffmann’s siblings, sister Elyse and her brother Joe were both on the U.S. Junior National Ski Jumping Team. At 15, Hoffmann was barely making it off the takeoff, but Coach Blake Hughes saw her passion, pushed her to continue pursuing the sport. Hoffmann went on to qualify for World Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany in 2021. She has also competed in four Junior World Championships.

After winning the U.S. Olympic Trials for Women’s Ski Jumping in Lake Placid, New York, Hoffmann then represented the United States in Ski Jumping at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing.

Hoffmann’s personal sports philosophy is talent is great, but hard work takes you further. Currently, she attends the University of Utah and lives in Salt Lake City.
